About

ABOUT ME

My practice begins with seeing. From shifting angles and changing light to experiments with materials, I transform the ordinary into something unfamiliar. Objects become silent witnesses, portraits dissolve into presence, and fragments of memory return as traces of poetry.

Taiwanese-born and Brisbane-based, I move between cultural inheritances and personal experiment. Poetic Nonsense reimagines still life as dreamlike landscapes of the everyday. Poetic Presence distills human emotion into pared-back monochrome portraits. Angels and the Chaumet Series investigate composition and color, embracing the joy of exploration and artistic play. Works created for charity extend this language into collective and communal forms.

For me, painting is not only about image. It is a way to slow time, to disrupt perception, and to create spaces where beauty hidden in plain sight can be discovered anew by those who look.
